Whether Japanese wallpaper looks right in the end is not just a matter of installation. It depends even more on whether the full Japan-sourced system is maintained. In our work, the wallpaper, wallpaper adhesive, installation tools and machines are all made in Japan.
Specific arrangements may vary by city, wall condition and area, but the core steps stay largely the same.
Using photos, plans or site conditions, we assess how the space will be used, what the wall condition is like and which visual direction makes sense, then recommend the right Sangetsu wallpaper range.
We measure wall areas, openings and key detail locations, note substrate issues, then organise a clear quotation structure for materials and labour.
As needed, we repair, sand and prime the surface so the wall is dry, stable and flat. This step has the biggest impact on the final result.
We pre-cut according to the pattern, wall height and join logic, then use a compatible adhesive system to control open time and seam cleanliness.
We pay close attention to pattern alignment, seam stability, switch positions, internal and external corners, and finishing edges so the whole space reads cleaner and more consistent.
After completion, we check flatness, seams and pattern alignment, then explain cleaning, maintenance and how future local repairs can be handled.
If you already have photos, plans or visual references, send them to us and we can first assess what scope makes sense for your project.
